How to apply

Three steps
to joining SBP

Most families complete all three in two to three weeks.

  1. 1

    Enquire

Send the short form or message us on WhatsApp. Tell us your child's current grade and when you would like them to start. We reply within one working day.

  2. 2

    Visit

Tour the campus, see a lesson in progress and meet the principal. Bring your child if you can. A visit takes about an hour.

  3. 3

    Enrol

A short placement assessment or trial class, then the application form. We confirm your child's place and start date in writing.

Enrolment requirements
& documents

What happens at step 3, Enrol, and what to bring.

To be accepted, your child
  1. Takes a placement assessment in English and Mathematics, set at their age level
  2. Shows us their last two school reports
  3. Has a short interview with us, together with you

Children from national-curriculum schools are welcome. The assessment shows where your child is, and teachers help them get used to learning in English.

Documents to bring
  • Your child’s birth certificate
  • Family card (Kartu Keluarga)
  • The last two school reports
  • Two recent photographs of your child
  • For children who are not Indonesian citizens: passport and KITAS

You hand these in with the application form, after the placement assessment.

Tuition
& fees

The fee schedule for 2027–28 covers tuition, the one-time enrolment fee and other items. Our admissions team goes through it with you in person, on your visit or at Open House.

Questions
parents ask

Can my child join in the middle of the year?

Yes, when there is a place in the year group.

Is there a waiting list?

We tell you on your first enquiry if a year group is full.

My child is at a national school. Will they cope?

Students from national schools are welcome. The placement assessment shows where your child is, and teachers support them while they get used to learning in English.

Do you offer school transport or a canteen?

Please ask our admissions team about transport, the canteen and after-school care.

Is religious education taught?

Yes. Students take Religious Studies in their own faith: Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity or Catholicism.

Can we visit both campuses?

Yes. Choose a campus when you book, and tell us if you would like to see the other one too.
